Membrane element maintenance
After a period of normal operation, the membrane element is contaminated by suspended or poorly soluble materials that may be present in the feed water. If the system performance drops by 10% under standard conditions, or if fouling or fouling is apparent, it should be cleaned in time. Regular water rinsing and chemical dosing can restore the performance of the membrane element and extend the life of the membrane element.
During the short-term shutdown of the system, the system should be flushed every 5 days, and the valve should be closed after flushing to prevent fouling.
The system was shut down for a long time (more than 30 days) and 1% sodium bisulfite solution was added to prevent bacterial growth.
